On Thursday, February 6, at the ECCC – Episcopal Camps & Conference Centers annual conference, Brad Thompson, DaySpring’s executive director, was honored as the 2025 Peter Bergstrom Leadership Award recipient. This prestigious award is given to a deeply committed community member who has advanced the cause of Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers through mentoring, advocacy, and innovative programming.

Carla Odell, retired executive director of DaySpring, was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from Episcopal Camps and Conference Centers during the conference. Carla was at DaySpring for 20 years and a member of ECCC for 15 years. She attended every annual conference and taught many financial and budget seminars at those conferences over the years.

Bishop Doug Scharf was on hand at Kanuga Conference Center where the awards were presented. Congratulations to Brad and Carla!
