COVID has launched us into a time when many people’s primary contact with church will be via social media, youtube, and other virtual and/or on-demand platforms. How do we harness that for its potential, without giving up our sense of community? How are we called to be the Body of Christ, while blending virtual and in-person forms of being together?
Greer is the minister for formation and connection at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Conway, Arkansas. For the past year, she partnered with the Presiding Bishop’s Evangelism Team, as a consulting evangelist and as a member of the working group on the Way of Love. Greer also served as the Project Evangelist for Baptized for Life: An Episcopal Discipleship Initiative from Virginia Theological Seminary, as the creator and coordinator for Forma’s Faith-at-Home resources, and as the author of multiple curricula through Forward Movement and Episcopal Relief and Development. She is an in-demand speaker and contributor around the topics of evangelism, discipleship, welcoming former evangelicals, and ministry with families and children.
